Books:

this will be some of my recommendations for books and media for study purposes and a little tech reading in case you have ensomnia...

i've found the Michael meyers books to be very well written and i like the way that he explains things. very much in layman's terms. they are an easy read. even if you pick up one os his older A+ books, you'll find that the hardware concepts and principles are the same. you can get the older books off ebay and amazon or down at microcenter on 225 and tamarac here in denver, for much less.

this one is a little older, with some dos info still, but still good on the hardware side.

the exam cram books are good for condensing things well. sometimes you'll find that you need to suppliment them with other material; however the questions in the back are great!

once again, mike meyers, same as michael meyers...not to be confused with the comedian or the slasher off halloween--but a good read.

the dummies books are pretty good, again, i would recommend some suppliments. they don't seem to give you all the geek nourishment that you need for the exams.

great little pocket book. for quick study on the bus, waiting rooms, toll booth lines, etc.
